Brrr, we are freezing in Corvallis (58 rather than normal 70) and rain, rain, rain. Looking forward to better weather over the weekend.

How I Got Here
About the site...
Hello to all my dear friends and family.
This blog is certainly a different way of communicating than I am used to. I would much rather be sitting down with you and chatting over coffee, a glass of wine, a great meal, walking the dog or playing a round of golf, but that is not possible at the moment. I know that you are here on this website because you care about me and want to follow my progress through this next challenge in my life.
It is my hope that I will do most of the posting to the blog and if not, my children have promised to do regular postings and to communicate with me all of your messages, photos, jokes, music and videos.
Hope things keep looking up (the weather too). Sophie should keep you warm and relaxed.
